We just called in here for a drink, so we can't comment on the food or rooms (though we did hear that the food was great). The pub looks lovely, is well decorated, and has seating out the front, which is where we sat. Across the road is a kids' playpark, which I'm sure is handy for many people. For anyone interested in Ordnance Survey, there's a benchmark on the outside wall at the front of the pub!

Nice and clean rooms, good service and a decent breakfast. When we arrived the lobby, bar and restaurant were closed for cleaning, but everything looked really nice. We'd love to come back someday!

I would like to say thank you to the two girls that worked Friday night. Me and two friends were staying at a local camp site and came in for some food, the food itself was delicious and very well priced. We had such a laugh winding our friend up pretending it was his birthday and the girls joined in with us even bringing out candles in his dessert with the chorus of "happy birthday to you". A super friendly, clean and welcoming place. We will be back!

We didn't stay in the rooms so can't comment. We popped in for some food and it was delicious! I had the beef burger with a side of onion rings and my partner had the beef pie. Both were spot on and we really enjoyed the experience. Staff were relaxed and friendly. Would definitely recommend
